We wholeheartedly encourage artist submissions.  Below is a brief idea of how we work, and what we need to begin evaluating.

Brief background of S.I. Fine Arts

S.I. began five decades ago in Barcelona, Spain.  In time, S.I. expanded to the rest of western Europe and to the Americas, adding both artists and clients.  We opened our American office in Manhattan three decades ago. 

Our business is primarily wholesale to a network of galleries around the world.  We are not a retail gallery selling to individuals.  We work only on an exclusive contract basis for the regions where we offer an artist’s work (regions must include at least North America, including Canada and the United States).  We serve as an exclusive agent for the artist, and introduce the artist’s work into a network of galleries we have worked with over the past decades.

Our primary focus is original works.  We also sometimes sublicense (other companies handle printing and distribution) limited edition prints, but only for artists for whom we also handle originals. 

Questions for Prospective Artists  (please answer via email):

1. What is your biography / curriculum vitae? (birth place, birth year, current residence, nationality, art training, greatest artistic influences, gallery name / location for past group exhibitions, gallery name / location for past solo exhibitions, museum collections, individual well-known collectors, artist credo / statement)
2. What areas of the world would be available for an exclusive on your originals?
3. Do you already have any outstanding contracts anywhere in the world?
4. Would you be willing to sign an exclusive contract for certain regions of the world, or possibly worldwide?
5. Do you have an artist website?
6. Do you currently sell direct to individuals in any part of the world?
7. Do you have any listing of prices or available works anywhere available on the Internet?  Please provide a list.
8. Please email digital images JPEG files (not website click-throughs) with a list specifying size, medium, price to artist (price to be paid to you, not the asking price for the public).
9. What are the current retail prices to the public in your home country?
10. Have you done any advertising in either consumer magazines, trade-only magazines or via emails?
